If anyone knew when and where to be Henri Cartier-Bresson Did. Be it in the right spot to take the picture of the young boy carrying the bottles of wine home or the Elderly man walking down the street  that turns and looks.  Or  When world events that were taken the politicians and generals  by suprized you could be pretty certain that Cartier-Bresson was going to be there in time to catch the events partition of India 1947 to the Assassination of Gandhi 1948  having met with him just days before. Then in china for the  1949 Chinese Revolution

This photo of Gandhi along with a number of others were all taken within three days of Gandhi's assassination. Cartier stayed on in India to cover the funeral.

Cartier-Bresson's ability to Combine Geometry and perfect framing was legendary. This combined with his uncanny sense of timing — later became knowing as "Decisive moment" Photography.

The geometry in these three photo's is amazing every circle has an answering right angle, square and triangle.
